Resource Conservation

Gas-powered lawn tools use around 800 million gallons of gasoline in the U.S. each year.

Gasoline Usage Of Lawn Tools

Spillage

Over 17 million gallons of gasoline are spilled annually during refueling, surpassing the Exxon Valdez oil spill in 1989. Gas spills can contaminate soil and water, releasing harmful chemicals that disrupt ecosystems and harm wildlife.

Excess Waste

Gasoline is a limited resource that should be conserved for essential uses like cars, ships, and planes, while electric options can efficiently power smaller equipment like leaf blowers to reduce waste and environmental impact.

Limited Resource

Proven oil reserves are expected to last around 47-50 years at current consumption rates. This estimate is based on the proven reserves of approximately 1.7 trillion barrels globally and the current global consumption rate of around 100 million barrels per day.
